The Jbox

Jbox Info

The Jbox is a fully custom, handbuilt-to-order Variable Wattage charging device that utilizes the DNA circuit board from Evolv with an output power range from 5 to 12 watts. A work of art, the Jbox is small, sleek, elegant, and is sure to impress. It features a 2200mah battery that is charged via micro USB port. The wattage is controlled by a potentiometer that is recessed so that once it is set there is no chance for it to be accidentally moved. There will be a mini keychain screwdriver and micro USB charging cable provided with your purchase. The Jbox can also provide adequate power while it is being charged. The price of the wood includes all of the components, labor and finish. The Jbox comes with a limited warranty for 6 months from the date of purchase for the original purchaser, which covers any and all manufacturer defects. There are many great safety features that are built into the Jbox as listed below.

Safety Features

- Safe chemistry Battery

- Current Limit – The Jbox will shut down temporarily if the output current rises above 3.5amps. This also protects in the event of a short.

- Low Battery Shutdown – This is prevent damage to the battery and will shut the Jbox off if the voltage falls below 3.1volts under a load.

- Over voltage-If the Jbox senses a resistance that is to high it will be limited to 6.0 volts

- Overheat Protection – If the internal temperature rises above 80°C the Jbox will shut down until the temperature drops

- Overcharge Protection – The Jbox will fast charge or trickle charge depending on the state of your battery and will not allow the battery to be charged higher than 4.2 volts.
